DIARY DETAILS
You have been sent a calendar file with Zoom link to add the event to your diary; please make sure you have logged this. We ask that you aim to arrive a couple of minutes early, at which point you will be placed in the waiting room. The discussion will start at the advertised time; please let us know if you are running late.
THE EXPERIENCE
Where applicable, you will receive your tasting kit in advance of the evening, provided you have signed up to the event at least 72 hours in advance. We will ask you to re-confirm your attendance prior to instructing our suppliers to send your treat. Please ensure that the address you have provided for delivery is where you’ll be that evening.
If it’s a keynote, we will send you some thought leader titbits in advance.
THE DISCUSSION & TASTING
The facilitator will lead and manage the conversation, which has six segments to it:
- An interactive polling question followed by a response from the host (15 minutes)
- Our expert leads the first tasting, or our keynote provides food for thought
- Breakout discussions of a topic (30 minutes)
- Our expert leads the second tasting, or our keynote provides further food for thought
- A panel session (30 minutes)
- Our expert leads the final tasting, or our keynote provides further food for thought
You should feel free to contribute as much or as little as you feel comfortable doing. The conversation takes place under the Chatham House Rule, so please be as open as you can be. We will finish at the advertised time.
IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT
Guest lists are carefully put together and cancellations can affect that balance. If anything looks likely to derail your plans, it will help greatly if you can identify a suitable substitute from within your organisation and let us know about the change. For last-minute changes, we appreciate that work and personal emergencies happen: please try your best to let us know as soon as you can. If we receive your cancellation after the tasting kit has been delivered, we’ll provide an address for you to return it to.
